UNVEILING STAKEHOLDER NEEDS: A STRUCTURED EXPLORATION

In the pursuit of crafting an inclusive and user-centric Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform for all the citizens, ITHACA project partners have embarked on a journey to meticulously understand the diverse requirements of all our stakeholders. How are we about to align the design of the platform with their specific needs?

Key Findings

At first, let’s have a closer look at the pivotal takeaways from our analysis:

  • Citizens in Brasov exhibited a higher propensity to envision platform features and functionalities compared to those in Martin, possibly attributable to their superior educational background and digital experiences.
  • Across all sections, agreement rates were consistently high, indicating a strong alignment with user preferences.
  • There’s a discernible need for personalized selection options to effectively cater to diverse user preferences.

Recommendations for Implementation
Grounded in our findings, we propose several actionable recommendations:

  • Implement personalized selection options via the Personal Information Management System to accommodate diverse user preferences effectively.
  • Opt for intuitive rating and commenting mechanisms, such as Upvoting and Downvoting, in line with established social media practices.
  • Prioritize features like search bars and filter options to enhance user experience and content accessibility.
  • Address additional requirements, including accessibility features for the visually impaired and community-based support mechanisms.

Fostering Inclusive Collaboration
Acknowledging the significance of collaborative problem-solving and mutual support within the community, we’re committed to fostering a supportive environment where users can seek assistance and contribute to each other’s learning and growth.

Next Steps
Armed with these insights, we’re poised to embark on the next phase of the platform development, integrating user-centric design principles and addressing specific stakeholder needs.
